Uniquely handmade, hand thrown and carved with a pair of love bird sculptural lid, carved texture rutile blue glazed stoneware canister, one of a kind stoneware globe.
Perfect wedding gift. All our pottery is made by hand individually in small series and batches. Glazed with our own formulated glazes and fired in our custom built gas kiln to a high temperature of over 2400 degrees or Cone 10-12. Manipulating the firing into a reduction atmosphere at the right time forcing the clay and glaze to mature and develop amazing glaze effects and a strong hard, high quality ceramic product. Richly glazed rutile blue plays on the carved surface beautifully accented by a Temmaku brown trimmed lid and a pair of birds adorn the top.
Measures full height is 8.5 inches, about 7.5 inches wide.
